Indian Ocean surf & dive

We are looking for people who love adventure and exploration, who love the thrill of dropping into that perfect wave or descending onto that unknown reef (or both) and who love the ocean- the waves on top and the reef below.

We offer SURFING expeditions in North Sumatra (May-November) and DIVING expeditions in Burma (November-April). We especially seek the watermen and waterwomen who love to do it ALL- surf, dive and snorkel, fish and explore! Twice a year we offer a unique trip as our boat, the Mahtab, migrates to Sumatra for the surf season starting from Thailand and passing through the Andaman Islands, India, returning 6 months later. We also offer occasional special expeditions, such as coral reef surveys in cooperation with Reef Check.

Our philosophy is to explore the wildest islands and reefs of Sumatra, Burma, Thailand, and the Andaman Islands while respecting the natural and cultural resources of the area. While immersed in these remote and wild places, we try to give something back to the protection of the nature and culture of the area, through donations and participation with organizations like Reef Check and 1% for the Planet.




We use a new 80’ boat, the M/V Mahtab, equipped with everything you need for your adventure. We have an experienced boat operator who knows where to find you waves and reefs.
